BAOU Admission 2026-27
Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University GCAS Registration (UG & PG Course) process has started for the 2026-27 academic session. The admission offers various fields such as Arts, Science, Education, Business, Commerce, Multimedia, Social work and more. For the upcoming session, BAOU admission will be based on merit list and in some programs, admission will be based on an entrance exam, like B.Ed. and MBA. Interested candidates can visit the official site and fill out the admission form till 30 January 2026. However, this session will not accept applications for programs such as B.Ed., Spl. B.Ed., MLIS, and BLIS. Admissions for all these programs will be conducted in the July session.

BAOU UG Admission
BAOU UG program is a three-year ODL program that is divided into six semesters. This program offers a wide range of undergraduate programs, such as BA, BBA, BCom, BCA, BEd, BSc, and more. Admission will be based on the merit list; no entrance exam is required. For admission in BAOU UG programs, students must have passed the 12th (Intermediate) class from a recognised board (CBSE/NIOS, etc). The total fee for this program is INR 3600 to INR 45000. BAOU Admission B.Ed 2026
Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University registration process will commence in the first week of June 2026 for the BEd. Admission is generally based on the merit list and counselling-based; there is no need entrance exam. BAOU MBA Admission
BAOU offers a Master of Business Administration program in open and distance learning modes. The MBA program lasts two years and is divided into four semesters. In the MBA program, admission offers three specialisations such as MBA in Finance, HR and Marketing. Admission to the MBA will be done through an exam, but the student must fulfil the eligibility criteria first. The student must have a Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration with at least 50% marks.
BAOU PhD Admission 2026
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University offers admission to its PhD program through distance education mode.
