Let us tell you that Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) is one of the premier distance education institutions located in Mthe ysore district of Karnataka, which was established in 1996 under the Act of 1992. KSOU admission 2026-27: Eligibility criteria
We have already informed you that admission will be based on the merit list, but to fill out the application form, you must meet the university’s basic eligibility criteria.
- Undergraduate Programs: You have a 12th (Intermediate) class certificate in any subjects from a recognized boards.Â
- Postgraduate Programs: students must have a 3-year or 4-year bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum of 50% marks.Â

The Bachelor of Education is a professional program offered in a 2-year open and distance learning (ODL) mode. This program is designed for students who aspire to become teachers or professors.
