Patna University Entrance Exam 2026

Patna University offers admissions to various programs in different colleges every year. These admissions are based on merit lists and entrance exams. Patna University offers admission to its B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) program, for which students primarily need to clear the Bihar B.Ed Common Entrance Test (Bihar CET-BEd). This exam is conducted by Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU). To be eligible for admission to the B.Ed program at Patna University, students must hold a graduate degree in any field with a minimum of 50% marks.

Admission to PG in Patna University

Under its postgraduate programs, the university offers courses such as MA, MSc, MCom, MSW, M.Ed, LLM, MBA, and MCA.  To gain admission to these programs, students must clear the PU PG Entrance Exam. Following the exam, the university will prepare a merit list. The fees for all these postgraduate programs at Patna University range from INR 11,000 to INR 80,000. Patna University admission 2026 registration form will commence on 24 April 2026 for the postgraduate program, and the last date for form submission will be 31 May 2026 for the 2026-27 academic session.

Patna University offers its LLB program through Patna Law College.  To gain admission, students must clear the Patna University Entrance Examination. The university offers two types of law programs: a 3-Year LLB program, which students can pursue after graduation, and a 5-Year Integrated BA LLB program, which can be pursued after completing 10+2.
