Tezpur University Entrance Exam

Tezpur University admission 2026 is provided through various channels every year to ensure a transparent admission process. However, there are many programs for which admission is granted not only through other entrance exams, but also through the university’s own entrance exam: , which we call TUEE (Tezpur University Entrance Exam). This exam is used for admission to programs such as MTech, BTech, and PhD. The TUEE will be conducted on 30 May 2026 (expected date).

To be eligible for UG admission at Tezpur University in 2026, passing the entrance exam is mandatory. This exam will be conducted by the university and the NTA (National Testing Agency). There is currently no official update regarding the entrance exam, but Tezpur University admissions are expected to begin in the middle of April 2026. Admission offers a wide range of apecilizations such as BA, BSc, BCom, BEd, BTech, and more. The fees for the undergraduate program are INR 13,143 to 27,143 per semester.

To be eligible for admission to the BTech program, candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in 10+2 from a recognized board (CBSE/NIOU/etc), with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. 

Anyone from across India can apply for the B.Tech program at Tezpur University, but 40% of the total seats will be filled through the All India Open Quota via CSAB/JoSAA central counseling, and the remaining 60% of seats are reserved for permanent residents of the North Eastern (NE) states.
